1st Stop:
Blue Cave Tour on the Island of Koločep
Our first stop is the famous Blue Cave on the small Elaphiti island of Koločep (also called Kalamota by locals) accessible only by a private boat.
To enter this hidden natural home to a stunning underwater lagoon you’ll have to jump off the boat and swim through a small passage into the blue waters of the cave. This cave hides magical, underground oases, so make sure to use our snorkelling equipment to fully explore its beauty.
2nd Stop:
Šunj Beach on the Island of Lopud
Our adventure continues on the Elaphiti Island called Lopud, famous for its sandy beach Šunj. The shallow turquoise waters of Šunj bay attract many travellers so the very best way to enjoy it is in the morning before the rush of guests coming to Lopud by the local ferry. This is why we’ll make sure to arrive there in time so you can enjoy the beauty of the bay in style.
If you are up for a nice summer cocktail, there are several bars and restaurants at the beach, but also a small hippy-like place right above the beach in the deep shade of woods.
3rd Stop:
Saplunara beach on Mljet Island
Saplunara beach (from the latin word sabalum, meaning sand) is another breathtaking beach located at the Eastern tip of the beautiful island of Mljet, known as the greenest of all the islands in Croatia and the home of National Park Mljet.
This white sand beach on a pine-rimmed cove is fairly isolated and its natural beauty still remains untouched. A forest of Aleppo pines and junipers stretches from the sandy shore inland where there is a small village called Saplunara, with just a few families living there. You’ll find several small restaurants and bars in the bay near the beach.
4th Stop:
Limuni beach on Mljet Island
Our experienced skipper will take you to another beach in the Saplunara bay, which is even more secluded, making it ideal for enjoying the untouched nature in solitude. The Limuni beach (also called Blaće) is a great place to explore the deep turquoise waters with our snorkelling equipment.
5th Stop:
Lunch in Kobaš bay
Our next stop is the largest of Dalmatia’s peninsula Pelješac. You’ll have a chance to enjoy premium local specialties in Kobaš bay, a famous yachting spot in Pelješac channel. However, don’t expect a modern marina here. Our experienced skipper will take you to a traditional restaurant with sailing yachts anchored to handmade wooden docks.
Expect a gastro paradise of seafood pulled out of the sea that morning from the Adriatic sea elevated to a completely new level with the local olive oil accompanied with the best Pelješac wines.
6th Stop:
The Walls of Ston
Our boat tour continues to The Walls of Ston, the longest fortification wall in Europe, built in the 15th century by Dubrovnik Republic to keep the salt production on the Pelješac peninsula protected from the land side. Make sure to use the opportunity to climb the walls, since the view of the Pelješac bay, the city of Ston and its saltpans is simply amazing.
7th Stop:
Sikirica Bay
Our last stop of the full day tour is an amazing small island or peninsula of Sikirica, from which you have one of the best sunset views in the Dubrovnik area.
When the sea recedes, you can get to Sikirica from the mainland without getting your feet wet, but when the tide is high, the small peninsula turns into an island. Not many locals or tourists choose to go there due to the fact that it’s 20 km west of Dubrovnik and there’s no public transportation that will get you there. You’ll feel like you have the island all for yourself.
This small island offers pebble beaches hidden from view from the mainland and rocky beaches from all sides, partly hidden by pine trees. No matter from what side the wind is blowing or whether there are waves, you can always switch to the side that is sheltered. A true unspoilt wilderness.
